Information we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive the account identifier, name, email address, and profile image needed to create and secure your account. When you submit a plugin, we store the repository URL, proposed listing fields, submission status, timestamps, and your user identifier. Standard hosting logs may include request metadata such as IP address, user agent, route, timing, and error details.
GitHub repository data
For a submission, our server contacts fixed GitHub API endpoints to retrieve public repository metadata, the default branch, package name when available, and a bounded README snapshot. We do not request access to your private repositories. GitHub processes those requests under its own privacy terms.
How information is used
We use account information to authenticate submissions, prevent duplicate abuse, authorize administrators, audit review decisions, respond to support requests, maintain directory integrity, diagnose errors, and protect the service. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and security
Account, session, and directory records are stored in Cloudflare D1. Authentication cookies are used to keep you signed in. Reasonable technical safeguards are applied, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid placing secrets or private information in a repository description or submission summary.
Service providers and external links
Cloudflare provides hosting, database, security, and operational infrastructure. Google provides sign-in and GitHub provides public repository data. Optional analytics scripts load only when the corresponding deployment environment variable is configured. External repository and contact links leave this site.
Retention and deletion
Pending and reviewed records are retained for directory operations and abuse prevention. You can delete your account from the account page; this removes the Better Auth account and sessions. Published listings may remain with submitter attribution cleared because they describe a public project rather than your private account.
Your choices
You may browse without signing in, decline Google authentication, request correction of a published listing, or delete your account. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information.
